"Floria was born in 1951, in Geneva, Alabama. She is the youngest daughter from a family of 18 children. One sibling was lost in childbirth and three in accidents. She has lived in Stewart County, Georgia since the age of six and is married, with two adult children and three grandchildren." "Most of her work is done in paints, wood and clay using a majority of found materials. She is a retired seamstress and an ordained minister with her own small Church/Southern Folk Art Gallery in Brooklyn, Stewart County, Georgia, where she displays and sells her art. She has created an environment by decorating her yard with large pieces that are not for sale as they are part of her ministry. She continues to add to these as time permits.
